In today’s healthcare environment, stress and burnout among healthcare professionals have been identified as public health concerns.  It has been widely documented that occupational stress and burnout not only have negative consequences for individual employees but also for the organizations they work for by numerous researchers and authors. But to date, there have been no studies conducted to investigate how personal resilience, social support, and organizational support contribute to occupational burnout among nursing professionals, despite the numerous studies exploring their importance in helping nurses maintain their health and well-being during stressful events. This Book presents and investigate the psychological factors associated with occupational burnout among nurses and examine the potential role of resilience and perceived social support in managing work-related stress.

Vishva Chaudhary

Vishva Chaudhary (Ph.D., Psychology) is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Her specialization is Clinical Psychology. Having 12 years’ experience in teaching and research. She is a life member of various professional bodies, such as the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology and the Indian Academy of Health Psychology. She has published her research work related to a variety of topics, including peace psychology, sports psychology, clinical psychology, and spiritual psychology, in various national and international journals of repute. Her current research interests are in areas of environmental psychology such as nature connectedness and well-being, psychological capital, and workplace spirituality.

Rahish Kumar Chawla

Rahish Kumar Chawla (Ph.D., Psychology) is working at Nirwan University, Jaipur. He has done his doctorate under Dr.Vishva Chaudhary at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has rich experience in the fields of nursing and social work. He is also serving his duties as a counsellor with many NGOs.
